Virtual Workshop

Automated Vehicles (AV) hold great promise for improving safety, enhancing mobility, and increasing the sustainability of our planet. As we have seen in other industries, a proactive approach to safety management has the potential to positively contribute to public confidence in the technology. As the Automated Vehicle Safety Consortium (AVSC) completes their consensus-based standard for Safety Management Systems in the AV community, there is an opportunity to build a collaborative mechanism that will help the community apply this standard. During this initial meeting, senior safety members from the AV community will have an opportunity to learn and shape a way forward.
